As a PLC technician, I always wanted a table while on the road, working on industrial machines.This is exactly what I always wanted. Its so simple I kick myself every time I use it “why didn’t I think of that!”Fits in a travel toolbox easily when its folded.Its well built, and if you think you are going to use it, get it. My only warning is you’ll be imagining instead of programming machines you would have come up with this idea first.

Great Product
This computer workstation is excellent and has adjustable positions. The magnets are very strong. There is no risk of this thing falling off of whatever metal surface you have it attached to.

Every field tech should have one.
The ability to have a mobile workstation in the field pays for itself. I would recommend for any field tech who needs a little space to set their laptop on when thereâs not one available. Good strong magnets. Works best on non-textured services like an electrical panel or metal enclosure.

Great product
Only reason for not giving this product 5 stars is the magnets are seemingly overly strong. I have to pry it off cabinets and it’s loosening the screws in the magnets, I worry it’s going to strip them out.Other than that it’s awesome. I love that I can set up my laptop and not worry about it blowing away or falling off things or that I have to hunker down in equipment rooms to use my device.

Great for HVAC field techs working on RTU
Purchased this for work after seeing co-workers utilizing these for running diagnostics and doing startups on RTUs. Keeps your laptop out of the sun by giving you options on where to mount on the machine. Also helps in securing a laptop to keep it from getting knocked off a unit. There’s rarely a shelf for a laptop on a RTU, and this fits the bill. Worth the money. Very strong magnets.

I love using this when Iâm out in the field, I work on generators and when needing to hold my computer and read electrical diagrams plus troubleshoot itâs difficult, but now with this I can leave my computer sit next to me and be hands free to diag with. Iâve received multiple complements from customers who never thought there would be something like this available.

Buy this one, it’s much better than the black plastic one.
Very well built and sturdy. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the hinge mechanism operates similar to a soft-close drawer so it does not slam open. The magnets attached securely and I have no fear of my laptop falling. I attach mine to electrical enclosures, thick sheet metal , and it works great every time. I would recommend getting the magnet covers so that you don’t leave marks on the surface you attach it to. The carrying case is a nice addition. One of my co-workers has the other brand, the black plastic one, and it is not nearly as well built and feels flimsy.

It took me a few months of looking at this before I pulled the trigger and bought it.As a Field Service Engineer, I spend a lot of time on my backside on a concrete floor, laptop on my lap, trying to do my job.As an aging Field Service Engineer, it’s getting harder to get down on my backside, on a concrete floor, and harder to get back up.This, coupled with a collapsing stool (one of the round ones), fits in my laptop bag. It means no more struggling to get down, and struggling to get back up. If I lost this, I’d buy it again

It’s a gem. Works as anticipated. Make sure your carful removing it from a mount with valuables on the tray. I recommend you remove the items on the tray before you remove it from the magnetised panel. Itâs best removed starting to pivoting it off from the bottom.The only negative is the price but considering the build quality, breathe in. A colleague made one himself but nowhere as good but a similar price to make but more if you consider the time to manufacture.
