    hhmm very inconvenient
pc gaming perspectivefor starters it was well packaged, but the plastic on the unit does feel cheap. even the button feels so what fragile. i love the status lights! they do work and i can confirm that it does support aptx ll. i dont have any devices that support aptx hd so who knows. anyways, i mainly bought this little guy because of the aptx ll codec, i could care less about the other features. all i wanted was to plug it in to my usb hub on my desk (to monitor the status lights) and pair my headphones to it but thats not what happen. as soon as i plugged it in, it started to search for a bluetooth device and it ended up pairing to my speakers amplifier and not my headphones. i went ahead and unplug my amplifier from the wall to make sure it wasnt pairing to it and only then i was able to pair my headphones. it connected to the aptx ll codec without any issues but as soon as i plugged in my amplifier it would also paired to it, dropping the codec to sbc and vice versa if i unplugged the amplifier or headphones. what i had to do was turn off my headphones and unplug the amplifier, rest the unit and then turn try to pair my headphones. (i also reset my amplifier to make sure it didnt try to pair to it) and only then i was able to have my amplifier on and headphones paired to the unit. BUT! as soon as i turned off my headphones it started to search for another bluetooth device and once again it ended up pairing to my amplifier, repeating the cycle all over again. (i cannot turn off the bluetooth on my amplifier so i have work around this problem. however, i do have a small bluetooth tx/rx and i do not have that problem when it comes to pairing.) anyways, i ended up resetting everything and the only solution i found was to unplug the unit first and then turn off my headphones. same goes when connecting to it again, turn on my headphones and then plugging in the unit. now that is very inconvenient! otherwise if you leave it plugged in, it will search for bluetooth devices until it can connects to one. im thinking of getting a usb hub with a on/off switch if i cannot find another usb bluetooth audio adapter with aptx ll codec or else im returning it.i did tried the avantree dg80 but its current firmware no longer supports the aptx ll codec. however, i was able to leave it plugged in without it trying to pair with my amplifier as it does turn off when i turn off my headphones. the only major problem is that it connects as aptx but that kind of defeats the purpose purchasing it as my bluetooth dongle can also use aptx.

    Bad Sound quality, good speed
Works, but sound quality is not so good, although its on APTX, will buy a better and expensive brand next time.

    Sweet Dongle!
For the money, it’s a very nice little audio card, with strong Bluetooth.

Works great with iOS. Fantastic pairing with Fiio BTR5 for Aptx HD.
Until someone comes out with a USB LDAC transmitter, this is the best option iPhone users have for pairing Hifi bluetooth devices. Fantastic device, great price.
