Experience AR with XREAL Beam Pro
I recently got to try the XREAL Beam Pro AR glasses, and they blew me away. They run tons of Android apps, so theyâre great for both work and fun. The 3D cameras take awesome videos, and the whole experience feels really immersive. Running on Android 14, everything is smooth and works perfectly with all the apps I use. The visuals are steady, making them great for both work tasks and gaming. The controls are super easy to use, and I figured them out quickly. Plus, I can charge them while using them, so I can take my AR fun anywhere. Overall, these glasses are perfect for anyone who loves tech.

Opens up more features for the Air Glasses experience
I have the beam pro 128 gig and Air glasses for a week now, great fun. The beam pro was easy to set up out of the box but weird it does not come with a usbc charging cable. It opens up features like switching between 2 display sizes on the air glasses. Body anchor, smooth follow modes, 3D camera videoing. Honey comb spatial display of apps on the glasses. Sound is just ok and I get an annoying warning message about turning up the volume then it displays – glasses not responding wait- close app . Very glitchy . Without the beam pro it just mirrored my IPad which is ok but doesnât give me full features as mentioned. Overall good product, 4 stars for annoying warnings on the display. And no charge cable !

Needs a lot of work
The software is very buggy, some apps crash, the corners are rounded for some reason. Honestly I can see the potential but it feels like thereâs a lot of work left to be done. Original beam was better

Really good accessory for the Air 2 Pro
I have been using the Air 2 Pro glasses for a little under a month now. Theyâve been really good for flights and other commutes when I want a bigger screen. Iâve also used them with my work laptop as a second display when remotely working.
After some more time with them, I realized that just using my phone with them had a few limitations. I couldnât run my own streaming apps without the phone screen continuously turned on. The glasses also took up my phoneâs only USB port. This meant that the glasses really ate at my phoneâs battery, even in flight mode.
So when I heard about the Beam Pro, I decided to make the purchase. Theyâre more closely integrated with the glasses, and you can use any app with the NebulaOS, which is more like a launcher specifically made for the glasses. They basically fixed my only complaint with the Air 2 Pro (which is really a complaint with my phone, not the actual glasses).
There doesnât seem to be any latency associated with the glasses, which is great. Iâve done a few things with them so far, namely PS5 remote play, local gaming (emulation), and video streaming (Plex and Max). The picture quality using NebulaOS is about the same as using my phone, which is to say, very vivid and visible. I connected a PS5 controller for remote play and gaming, and the Beam Pro handled it all very well.
Thereâs a button to toggle between smooth follow (screen follows your eyes), and fixed position (screen floating in space). Smooth follow has some added stabilization, which makes using the glasses way more comfortable than just plugging in your phone, which if you move around too much, might get dizzy. This has been a BLESSING honestly.
I also tried using the Beam Pro with my laptop, setting up virtual monitors via Parsec and SpaceDesk. The Beam Pro can run multiple windows, so I was able to set up two floating monitors within the glasses. I turned on fixed position and enlarged the Beam Pro windows, so the elements were way easier to see than just plugging the glasses in.
The product runs Android, so itâs really versatile. Itâs a new product and the team seems to be pretty responsive on Reddit, so Iâm looking forward to some other creative use cases.

Fun but unnecessary
This thing is pretty awesome. It allowed me to view any app I could get on my android phone in an AR window, which was so sweet. However, the drawbacks for me were too many to justify my purchase.
3D photos and videos are cool. However, when that feature is turned off on the camera, the camera is very lackluster. Everything looks very flat and grainy when zooming into photos taken on the camera.
The device is large, bulky and heavy. I understand many modern phones are, but I’m still rocking a note 10, which is half the size and more than double the power of this device.
This device is NOT a phone. Honestly, if it were I probably would have kept it. The inability to put my SIM in it and thus have to carry another device that is bulkier than my phone and half as powerful is just unjustifiable for me. If I could have at least used it as a phone, for the price of $300, would have totally kept and used it. But I don’t need another $300 toy that I mostly was using for GBA emulation on a huge floating screen. I’ll deal with casting my screen to a TV.

Outstanding AR Experience with XREAL Beam Pro Phone
Bought XREAL Air 2 Pro AR Glasses a few weeks before getting the XREAL Beam Pro Phone just to get the full AR experience with XREAL! Overall the experience has been outstanding and I recommendate everyone to try it!
The image quality is outstanding, with vibrant colors and crisp details that make movies, presentations, and games come to life. The portability is a huge plus â I can easily take it anywhere, and the built-in battery lasts surprisingly long, even during extended use.
Setup was a breeze, and the user interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. Since I am a huge movie lover and I do travel a lot, having the phone paired with the glasses enables me to take my personal movie theaters anywhere I go.
Rapid charging with type c charing port and decent battery long can last movies and games to finish.
Overall, if you are a big traveller like me, recommendated to get the set for next level AR experiences.
