Outstanding WiFi on the Executive Telephony Hosted VoIP System!
We purchased this phone because we had to move some of our work staff home during the Coronavirus situation. Most of our employees that were moved to their homes have a workspace far from their router. They all have WiFi and this phone hit the mark! Since most of our office phones do not support WiFi, this phone was the most economical solution. The fine people at Executive Telephony suggested this phone and boy are we happy. This phone functions EXACTLY like the office Phones. Specifically, both phones ring simultaneously! This is unbelievable.3/17/20 UPDATE- I neglected to mention the optional Power Adapter. You’ll need the Power Adapter if you do not have a POE (Power over ethernet) switch. POE is something most people dont have in their home network. They are around $9 but Executive Telephony in Dallas provided at no additional cost. LOVE THESE GUYS!4/3/2020 UPDATE- The employees at Executive Telephony are so helpful. They explained how to make a router adjustment to improve the quality of the phone calls. 817.329-5521

Great WiFi Phone
Got this for a remote office to a location with WiFi only. I assumed WiFi it would be inferior sound. To my surprise my coworkers said I sounded better on this phone then the wired one in my office (and no, they were not just happy to get me out of the office!!! 🙂 ).

The wireless phone version Yealink T53W IP Phone doesn’t work out of the box
We have been working for weeks trying to get the phone to work. The biggest issues are Voice Mail and Auto Transfer of calls doesn’t work at all. We have reset the phone and tried multiple times over weeks so I am giving up. Amazon says it is just outside the return window so it must go in the recycle trash unfortunately. We have had multiple office phones in the past (different manufacturer) with out these problems. The voice mail and transfer are easy to program – they just don’t work. I am going with an office cell phone instead. It’s too bad they don’t at least take the phones back and refurbish them.

No Power Cord
The phones are nice and seem to work well but I find it odd that they don’t provide you with a power cord. We purchased Yealink phones several years ago and were able to use our previous power cords but what do other folks do?

50/50
So Iâve bought about 6 of these and unfortunately itâs a hit or miss. They donât tell you these are returned items.Iâve called to connect these for my office lines with ring central and the serial number is already registered and I have to go through the whole process of a return .So these phones are not new

Scam. Verizon vendor locked. Totally useless
Beware, the phones came with a large Verizon logo instead of Yealink. Not as advertised and the phones are vendor locked and thus unusable. The Yealink logo is also added in the bottom right. Vendor ignores the complaint and refuses to work on a solution or refund the phones.
