Shocked at how good it is
What’s not to like? Easy to program, understands VLAN’s without an issue, the DECT base is wall mountable and works PoE, it was simple to configure with FreePBX and HD voice works by default. (FYI: User/Pass admin/admin)Literally the simplest SIP/DECT phone I’ve ever setup (I have used quite a few), nice full-size handset, I sound like I’m gushing but it’s because so far, it’s that good. If you are a VoIP guy like me, this is a great phone. Seriously.EDIT: 6 months later, phone is still #1 IMHO. Works great with FreePBX, the range is INSANE (I have 5 acres, base is in the house in the approx middle) I can walk my entire perimeter and the call stays connected and perfect, never drops below 2 bars). This phone is a winner. It’s durable, it’s reliable.EDIT AGAIN: Now March of 2021, this is STILL the best cordless in the house, no signs of battery erosion (hold charge nicely) performance still top notch. Going to buy another because it’s just that good (and I need one in the shop, which connects to the same base as my range is simply insane)

Landline to digital/ money saver
I purchased this phone so I could have the same phone number Iâve had for 40 years and go thru internet calling to get out from under AT &T âs outrageous over priced service. It works good. Takes a little to get used to. No dial tone. But mostly does the same thing. I use for the land line on my home phone, since I prefer to have a cell service and a land line. Im happy with it. I plan on staying with the same multi line for my business when I change it over to digital.

DO NOT Buy This Phone
Great looking product, but the setup is EXTREMELY complicated. I spent hours (reading blogs, watching online videos, etc.) trying to setup the base and two handsets without any success. The Yealink instruction guide and website are completely useless. I am returning this product ASAP. Complete waste of money and time.

Be aware, these may be re-branded/already assigned to another vendor
First the phones work but ours arrived branded as Verizon and were registered with Verizon. It is the same phone, same software, but if you are using Yealink Enterprise management you will need to have them unregistered from Verizon and registered to your account.Other than that, they work great.

Awesome Voip handset
I bought it for a client with Nextiva service and wasn’t sure if it would work. I connected the charger, hooked the base in the router. Got on the phone with Nextiva customer service rep, gave them the mac address. They configured on their end. Rebooted and it was ready to go within a few minutes. It has a good range. Looks great and the client raves about it as their receptionist is now free to answer phones from (almost) anywhere.

Great range and voice quality – and the battery life seems good too…
I purchased this to replace an aging Panasonic KX-TGP500 DECT cordless. I have used some of the Yealink desk phones and they were okay, but not as good as the Polycom VVX phones. However, this Yealink W60P is a great DECT cordless phone. The sound quality is excellent and the screen is a decent size. It comes with a belt clip that makes it easy to carry around so I don’t miss any calls. The speakerphone / handset button can doesn’t always work though – when changing from speakerphone to handset but maybe it’s just my fat fingers missing the buttons. Overall, I really like this phone – great range and voice quality!

Not Hard to Setup…If you follow your carrier’s instructions
Many people complained that this was hard to setup on AT&T office at hand. Following their instructions, the setup and firmware update took about 15 minutes total.

This phone works perfectly and has the ability to run a total of 8 handsets. So it’s perfect. Mine worked flawlessly until October 2020 when Rogers flashed my modem with new firmware but failed to upgrade the infrastructure in my area. Now my Yealink W60P SIP phone, video conferencing, and VPN’s will not stay connected. May 31 2021 and Rogers has still not fixed my connection. Sorry that was off topic, so getting back to the Yealink W60P…. I love it. Best cordless phone I have ever had.

I completely love this set. It was a bit challenging to figure out how to set the time zone (it defaults to Beijing, so it will be eight hours off), and it works flawlessly with the VOIP service provided by my ISP (I live in a newer dwelling with fttp and landline service is over VOIP through my ISP). Audio quality is wonderful, and it allows you to easily pair other DECT handsets and assign extensions to them. The web interface is basic, but functional, and is a lot less hard to use than most typical SIP/VoIP products. The final thing which made it really useful is that the charging base for the handset just uses a microUSB cable, so you can just plug it into any available USB charger. I don’t have a spare socket in my kitchen anymore, but we have two USB ports in the wall plate, so that came in handy as well.

A little pricey, but good quality. Battery lasts more than 24 hours with moderate use. Setup was easy as well
